About Mark Ridsdill Smith, your tutor
I first discovered microgreens when growing on my balcony 13 years ago. I was amazed at how productive and tasty they were. I've continued to grow and experiment with different leaves ever since. I've taught microgreens in workshops around the UK - and people always love how quickly and easily they grow.
I hope this online course will help more people discover how rewarding it can be to grow high quality and nutritious food at home. And how much cheaper, fresher and tastier it is than buying salad in plastic bags from the supermarket!
Live Course and Monthly Q&A Meetings
You can study the course at anytime by watching the videos and recordings of the live sessions.
To complement the 'How to' videos, I also run the course live on Zoom each year to help bring the course to life, to offer another chance to ask questions and to create more of a framework for learning.
